The primary levels of the CogAT focus more on picture analogies and picture classification instead of their verbal equivalents. Each of these subtopics help develop a different skill and it is important to see all the different types of questions, their solutions, and the explanations to avoid having any surprises the day of the test. These batteries feature the following topics: Picture/Verbal analogies, Sentence Completion, Picture/Verbal Classification, Number Analogies, Number Series, Number Puzzles, Figure Matrices, Figure Classification, and Paper Folding. The CogAT 10 test is divided into different sections known as batteries: Verbal battery, Nonverbal battery, and Quantitative battery.
